On Friday, July 21, 2023, at 5:00PM, the Opening Mass of the Thirteenth National Black Catholic Congress will be held in the Great Upper Church of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The theme for the Mass is: “Write the Vision: A Prophetic Call to Thrive.”

Cardinal Wilton Gregory, Archbishop of Washington, will be the Principal Celebrant and Homilist.
